We're looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and smart engineer to work on Information Security of Oracle Cloud and Oracle Linux core components. The team is responsible for the development of security and cryptography related features, SCAP automation profiles development, security vulnerability testing, public sector validations and FIPS certifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Security and cryptography related features development- Security compliance profiles automation (STIG, OpenSCAP, OVAL)- Engineering support for public sector validations and certifications (FIPS140-2 and Common Criteria)- Security fixes and CVE management- Work with internal Oracle teams and open source communities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong technical background- 4+ years of Software Development or Quality experience- 2+ years of C/C++ programming experience- 2+ years of Python programming experience- 2+ year of shell programming experience- excellent knowledge of Linux OS- excellent troubleshooting skills- excellent understanding of Information Security, cryptography and code signing concepts.- excellent written and verbal communication skills- Open Source development experience is a big plus
