Frontend Developer

Job Description: We are seeking skilled Front-End Developers for a 6 month contract position. The role is available for both mid-level candidates (3-5 years of experience) and senior level candidates (5-10 years of experience). You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the user interface of our credentialing software. As a remote contractor, you will work closely with our CTO, backend developers, and UI/UX designers to implement visual elements and create seamless user experiences.

Responsibilities: Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces for our credentialing software using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Next.js/React. Collaborate with the CTO, backend developers, and UI/UX designers to translate design wireframes into functional UI components. Implement best practices and standards for front-end development, including accessibility and performance optimization. Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery. Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in front-end development.

Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Next.js/React. Experience with backend technologies in Python, including Django, Flask, or FastAPI. DevOps experience with Docker, GitHub, Jira, and AWS Managed Services and Tooling. Familiarity with PostgreSQL for databases and AWS for cloud services. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working remotely.

Good to have:

Experience in healthcare IT or working with medical software applications. Understanding of UX/UI design principles and usability testing
