Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. In addition to technical expertise, you will be responsible for line managing our backend developers, ensuring effective team collaboration and high-quality deliverables. Your role will be crucial in designing, developing, and maintaining the backend systems that power our SaaS and mobile applications, as well as our IoT product offerings. You will also play a key part in extending our use of Serverless architecture and promoting good engineering practices within the team.

Responsibilities:Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve our software.Line manage and mentor backend developers, providing guidance and support.Work closely with the product team and agile delivery manager to prepare and refine user stories and tasks.Collaborate with a cross-functional team where software is product-led, design-driven, and customer-centric.Support and develop the existing Java code base behind our SaaS and mobile applications.Support and develop the existing code base behind our IoT product offerings.Extend our use of Serverless architecture.Ensure good engineering practices and knowledge sharing within the team.

Mandatory Skills:Java 8 / Java 11SpringJavaScriptAWS S3 and Lambda programming

Nice to Have Skills:API Gateway, IoT Core, Glue, SQS, SNS, SES, Kinesis, and AthenaPostgreSQLPythonWorking knowledge of AWS Serverless patternsAWS Certifications
