We are seeking a talented API Developer with expertise in Java development. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining APIs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient API solutions.Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality APIs using Java and Azure stack technologies;- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, architects, and product owners, to gather and refine API requirements;- Optimize API performance, security, and scalability conducting thorough testing and debugging of APIs to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements;- Document API design, functionality, and usage guidelines for internal and external developers;- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in API development and Azure technologies;- Provide technical guidance and support to other developers as needed;- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.Requirements for this challenge:- Proven experience as an API Developer, working with Java;- Strong understanding of API design principles, RESTful architecture, gRPC, and best practices for API development;- Proficiency in Java programming language (Java 11+ and Spring framework);- Experience with Swagger for API documentation and specification;- Experience with version control systems, such as Git;- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines;- Strong communication and collaboration abilities;- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.- Good English skill (intermediate or above)Nice to have:- Familiarity with event driven architectures- Familiarity with Azure services, specifically Azure API Management, Azure Functions and EventHub;- Experience with other Azure services, such as Azure Synapse Analytics or Azure Storage.- Familiarity with SOAP integrations- Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes;Our benefits- Health plan and dental plan;- Meal allowances;- Childcare assistance;- Extended parental leave;- Gympass- Life insurance;- Partnership with an online mental health platform;- CI&T University;- Discount Club;- Support Program: legal; financial; physiotherapy; psychological guidance; nutritionist and more;- Pregnancy course and responsible parenthood;- Partnership with online course platforms- Platform for language learning;- And many others.#MidSenior
