BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 2 years of software engineering or related experience. 1+ years of hands-on experience, preferably Exadata Strong desire to grow and improve MAA Exadata Security best practices and solutions. MAA best practices solutions include architecture, configuration and life cycle best practices based on projects, testing and customer and development collaboration. Linux operating system and hardware/network knowledge are preferable Troubleshooting and administration skills Experience with security and compliance a plus! STIG/CIS system hardening, PCI-DSS/FedRamp compliance, Qualys/Nessus vulnerability scanning, CVE/CVSS, NIST/ISO Programming skills in Java, Python, bash shell scripting, and/or automation Solid communication and collaboration skills are a must
Detailed Description And Job Requirements
Candidate will be testing, evaluating and creating new Exadata Security MAA practices, working with MAA team and other development organizations. Under guidance of team lead, design/develop security solutions and troubleshoot/debug security issues for the Exadata platform in regard to the operating system, Ethernet network, Infiniband network, storage servers, certificates, SSH/SSL, cryptography, etc. Work is non-routine and complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 2 years of software engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities
As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
