Sr Cloud Developer (Azure/AWS/Terraform)

OnX is looking for Senior Cloud Developers (Azure/AWS) with strong cloud/systems background for one of our clients in pharmaceutical domain. You'll be working on enhancing the framework for security-as-code in a large multi-cloud environment, leveraging modern DevOps tools & processes. This is a senior role requiring hands-on development across multi-cloud environment

***Please note, this is not a pure DevOps role. This role's primarily focus is on Python development for Cloud Security, rather than on cloud infrastructure and DevOps. If you apply, please ensure your resume clearly describes required skills and qualifications.

Must-haves:7+ years of experience in Information Technology field, preferably in Unix/systems space7+ years of software development experience, with Python and Terraform5+ years of experience in public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)Hands-on with Cloud Services such as VM, GKE, App Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, IAM Roles and Policies, Cloud Storage, and VPCStrong (minimum 8-year) Software Development experience with demonstrable proficiency in some of the following languages – Python (mandatory), Java, PowerShell, NodeJS, AngularJS, etc. Strong hands-on Python is critical.Building IaC templates for repeatable deployments, setting up Infrastructure using Terraform/Gitlab CI CD Pipelines; Kubernetes orchestrationProfessional Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) Certification is highly preferrable

Requirements:Extensive experience (minimum 5-6 years) and advanced knowledge with one or more hyperscale cloud providers - Azure, AWS, GCP & OCIThorough understanding of Infrastructure-as-code concepts and tools -ex. Terraform, Cloudformation, ARM, etc.Working knowledge of infrastructure concepts and administration (Linux/Unix/Windows, DNS, Network, Firewalls, etc)Proficient with security concepts in general and how they apply to cloud deploymentsWorking knowledge of containers and Kubernetes orchestrationProficient with Devops toolset & practices (CI/CD pipeline, Jenkins, Jira, Rally, etc)Working knowledge of Agile and SDLCExperience developing REST APIs and microservices architectureStrong experience coding with Cloud APIs and SDKs (in python)Demonstrate Security first mindsetSelf-motivated, team player who demonstrates initiative and flexibilityWillingness to learn new technologies and adapt, train othersSelf-organized, ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasksCloud Certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI)

Duties:Design & develop detective and corrective controls across hyperscale cloud providers - GCP, Azure, AWS & OCIDevelop API/microservices to automate reusable componentsDesign and build a devops framework, leveraging IaC & CI/CD, to automate security enforcement as code across multi-cloudStandardize and automate security operational procedures and processes Analyze software and infrastructure deployments pipelines to identify gaps and opportunities to improve securityDesign and build reusable solution for IaC (Security) scanning, and collaborate with internal teams to implementTranslate cloud security controls into programmatic enforcement through the pipelineResearch cloud services, identify event pattern and build event based controlsBuild IaC templates for repeatable deployments across key cloud providers
