Hybris Commerce Lead Developer

Job Title: Hybris Commerce Lead Developer Duration: 6+ Months Location: Remote Work Timings: Eastern/Central time zone

Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and implement e-commerce solutions using SAP Hybris Commerce (both Cloud and On-Premise versions).· Lead the migration process from our current Hybris version to a newer version, ensuring minimal disruption and data integrity.· Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand migration requirements and translate them into a smooth transition plan.· Develop and maintain Hybris extensions and customizations to fit specific business needs after migration.· Leverage AWS cloud infrastructure for deployment and management of the migrated Hybris platform.· Configure and manage containerization using Kubernetes for efficient application scaling post-migration.· Develop backend functionalities using Java/SpringBoot frameworks.· Integrate Hybris with search engine platforms like Solr for efficient product search.· Maintain high availability and scalability of the migrated Hybris platform using ZooKeeper.· Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure code quality throughout the migration process.· Collaborate with other developers, BA's, and QA testers to ensure a successful migration and ongoing development.· Stay up-to-date on the latest Hybris features and best practices, especially regarding version advancements.· Needs to have good communication/conversation skills and needs to be good team player. There will be a need to work on production issues so someone who is good with deadlines.
