Senior Frontend Developer

Key Responsibilities

Development: Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using modern frontend technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). Leadership: Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products. Optimization: Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, and ensure high performance across devices and browsers. Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and integrate them into the development process. Testing: Implement and manage testing strategies (unit tests, integration tests, end-to-end tests) to ensure code quality and robustness. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed code and systems.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+). Extensive experience with frontend frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. Strong understanding of state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX). Experience with modern build tools and workflows (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm, Yarn). Familiarity with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL. Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git. Experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Cypress). Design Skills: Understanding of responsive design, UX principles, and accessibility standards (WCAG). Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment. Leadership and mentoring skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with server-side rendering and Next.js (if using React). Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker). Contribution to open-source projects or a presence in the developer community.
