Who we areWe are a start-up transportation solutions company based in New Zealand, specialising in transport modelling, data analytics and geospatial services. We have a passion for innovation in the transport sector, driving our commitment to creating digital products for the transport industry. Our products aim to enable users to rapidly view, create and share interactive visualisations.

What you'll doAs a developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our transport visualisation applications. You will work closely with transport modelling and geospatial experts to develop Mobility Lab's products to meet our customers' needs.

Day to dayDevelop and maintain the transport visualisation product's front-endSupport the development of new products and proof of conceptsTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they ariseParticipate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvementStay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trendsWork on clients' bespoke projects as required

Our technology stackFrontend: React, JavaScript, TypescriptBackend: Python, AWS

What we're looking forSix month, fixed term contractBachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field or the representee experience instead of formal trainingStrong experience in frontend development using React, JavaScript and TypescriptExperience with transport or geographic information systems (GIS) or data processing and visualisation is a plus
