Python Developer (Remote)

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Backend Engineers to join a globally recognized firm’s Carriers team. The Carriers team is responsible for developing new features, building infrastructure, and maintaining current services. As a Senior Engineer, you will provide leadership and oversight in technical design, systems architecture, and coding for your team and the Engineering team.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, test, and deploy scalable software services.Ensure system scalability and maintainability using microservices and container-based distribution.Enhance CI/CD pipelines for smooth production releases.Verify system performance and correctness.Participate in peer reviews, testing, and design reviews.Collaborate with business teams on new product ideas.Monitor operational metrics for performance and quality.Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation

Required Skills:

7+ years in backend software development.Proficiency in server-side programming (Python) and database languages (SQL).Experience with MVC frameworks (e.g., Django, .NET, Spring, Rails, Phoenix).Success in building and supporting scalable APIs and services.Exceptional communication skills in English.Deep understanding of customer needs and a passion for customer success.Focus on craftsmanship, continuous improvement, and team success.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.Exceptional communication abilities and a strong capacity for independent work
