BI Developer

We are looking for a talented, diligent and client-focused Business Intelligence professional.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience deploying, administering and developing BI platforms. They will also be a strong leader, communicator and used to working with all levels of business users.

Key Skills - Mandatory:Advanced Power BI Data Visualisation and designData modelling - DTs, PDTs, nested queries, advanced modelling techniques with SQLAdvanced SQL across different dialectsConsultative expert on reporting design principles, keeping in-line with best practicesSolid understanding and knowledge of multi-industry terminologies and logic (CTR, CR, YoY, COS etc.)Deep understanding of data warehousing, data modelling, relational data models and structuring dataDeep and broad understanding of modelling data across huge scale data sets (petabytes) to guarantee performance and reporting SLAsAbility to present findings in a structured, clear manner with actionable insightsTraining - comfortable performing and leading classroom-based training, knowledge share sessions and co-dev sessions with business and technical stakeholdersAn understanding of the end-to-end data landscape and the ability to communicate detailed technical requirements with data science and engineering teams, as well as the ability to translate this to non-technical stakeholdersGIT and GIT integrationAgile working and sprint planning a mustAdvanced testing and UAT of workloads and outcomes, demonstrable with their own methodologySecurity, GDPR and PII data handling principles
