We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Frontend Developer to join our growing team in the Engineering industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in frontend development, with a strong emphasis on React Native. As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using React Native concepts, workflows, and best practices. You will also be responsible for profiling and improving frontend performance and documenting application changes and updates.

Responsibilities

Developing new user-facing features using React Native. Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use. Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code. Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers. Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders. Ensuring that all components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. Coordinating with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Committing to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in frontend development. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model. Thorough understanding of React Native and its core principles. Experience with popular React workflows (such as Flux or Redux). Familiarity with RESTful APIs. Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token. Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. A knack for benchmarking and optimization. Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a team player. Degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
