Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for a PHP Developer (Lead). The PHP Developer (Lead) will be responsible for leading a team of developers, designing and implementing complex web-based applications using PHP, and ensuring that best practices are being followed. The PHP Developer (Lead) will also work closely with project managers, business analysts, and clients to gather requirements and ensure the timely delivery of projects.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experienceMinimum of 4-5 years of experience in full-stack web development with emphasis on PHPProven experience in leading development teams, and managing complex web-based projects from inception to deliveryExpertise in PHP, MVC frameworks, such as LaravelStrong proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQueryExperience with database technologies including MySQL and PostgreSQLExperience with RESTful API development and integration, and version control systems such as GitExperience with working in an Agile/Scrum development environmentExcellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teamsExperience with other web-based programming languages such as Python, Ruby, or Java is a plusUnderstanding of security best practices for web applications is a plus
