Java Developer

G2IT is seeking a Junior to Mid level Java Developer.

The position is responsible for providing development and ongoing maintenance and support of complex Java applications and developing enhancements to applications supported for our clients. Supporting our client the changes are being made are to enhance the stability and functionality of these systems. The resource is integral to developing and maintaining the applications, automated processes, streamlining critical business processes, data integrity, and securing the applications. The resource will perform under the direction of senior developer(s) and functional client personnel. As a developer, you will participate in a variety of analytical assignments that provide for the enhancement, integration, maintenance, and implementation of projects.

Experience/Skills Required:

Hands on experience Integrating software components into a fully functional software systemDemonstrated strong JavaScript experience and knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, especially Node.JS, Angular and ReactDemonstrated development in a Service-oriented architecture / REST APIsKnowledge of and experience with databases Oracle and/or PostgreSQL is a plusKnowledge of AWS a plusKnowledge on source control tools such as GITDevelop software design documents and work with stakeholders for review and approval.Experience developing, prototypes, mockup for users review and approval.Exposure to flowcharts, screen layouts and documentation to ensure logical flow of the system requirements.Experience working on large agile projects.Experience or Knowledge working in environments utilizing CI/CD pipelines.Experience in Federal Financial Management systems, specifically working with financial data for budgeting is a plus2+ years developing complex computer systems using Java.2+ years developing complex computer systems using Java IDEs such as Eclipse.2+ years programming in the JBOSS environmentBA/BS Degree or 4 additional years of experience.Must be a US Citizen.Must have a Public Trust clearance, at a minimum.
