Lead PHP Developer - Tebex

We’re looking for a valiant Lead PHP Developer to lead their own party of fearless developers into the depths of our codebase. This glorious quest is set to become a key part of our development team’s saga, and the bards will tell your tale for centuries.

As a Lead PHP Developer, you'll play a key role in shaping our technical landscape, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to our mission of empowering in-game creators.

This role is a remote-first position, open to UK residents only.

ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:Develop robust PHP code to build new features and improve existing onesHire, mentor and guide junior developers, providing code reviews and technical guidanceLead technical discussions and contribute to the development of our codebaseCollaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and solve complex problemsTake ownership of a specific area of our codebase and lead a small team of developersDestroy the cursed PHP ring in the depths of Mount Tebex.

Requirements:

Eligibility to work in the UK.4+ years of experience with PHP and Laravel, with a deep understanding of development approaches and design patternsProven experience mentoring and coaching junior developersStrong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creativelyProficiency in automated testing (PHPUnit, feature tests, etc.)Experience with code reviews, technical discussions, and team leadershipStrong attention to detail and excellent planning skillsAbility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.Strong, unwavering spirit, able to resist the tempting whispers of cursed rings.
