We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to design, implement, and manage the database architecture that will power our platform.

Role Overview: As the Database Administrator for JobMatcher, you will be responsible for creating a robust and scalable database architecture that supports our job matching algorithms and user interactions. Your role will involve designing the database schema, optimizing performance, and ensuring data integrity and security.

Responsibilities:Database Design: Develop a comprehensive database schema that supports the JobMatcher platform’s functionality, including job seeker profiles, employer profiles, job listings, and application tracking.Architecture Planning: Design and implement scalable database architectures that can handle large volumes of data and high traffic loads.Performance Optimization: Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and other techniques to ensure fast and reliable access to data.Data Security: Implement and enforce data security measures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.Data Migration: Plan and execute data migration strategies for moving data from existing systems to the new database, if applicable.Collaboration: Work closely with developers and other team members to ensure seamless integration between the database and application layers.Troubleshooting: Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.Requirements:Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in database design and administration, with a strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and database management tools.
