Developer Advocate

We're looking for a talented Developer Advocate to join our team at Edgee and help shape the future of Edge Computing.

Your MissionAs a Developer Advocate at Edgee, you'll play a key role in driving the adoption of our Edge Computing technology by educating, supporting, and empowering the developer community. Your primary focus will be on creating high-quality developer documentation, engaging with the open-source community, and developing technical content that showcases the power of Edgee.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and lead technical workshops, group learning sessions, and other technical content to accelerate the adoption of Edgee.Create engaging developer documentation and content that simplifies complex technical conceptsEngage with the open-source community, provide support, and enable growthEducate the community on topics related to WebAssembly (WASM) and Edge Computing

Requirements5+ years of professional experience as a developer3+ years of experience in storytelling and content creation (blogs, conferences, leading workshops, live streaming, contributing to open source, participating in community events)Proficiency in Frontend developmentFluent English

Nice to HaveExperience with open-source contribution and community managementEvent hosting and organization skillsFamiliarity with WebAssembly (WASM)

Hiring processAll meetings are conducted remotely through Zoom or Google Meet and are 1 hour long, except the Technical fit interview, which takes 1.5 hours. You can expect the following, with regard to the interview process:Pre-screening: Send your CV and a note telling why you might be a good fit for this role at recruitme@edgee.cloudScreening interview: If your profile fits, we’ll get in touch with you for a first video call. Here we expect to learn more about your background and motivations.Technical fit interview: The next step is to have a live coding session with our CTO Alex Gravem. You’ll work together on a problem closely related to the scope of the team.Team fit Interview with the co-CEOs: Next you’ll meet separately both of our co-CEOS Sacha Morard and Gilles Raymond

In parallel to the interviews we’ll be conducting a reference check with 2 people of your choosing who you’re working with or have worked with in the past.
