Myticas's direct client based out of North Chicago, IL is currently seeking a Python Developer for a Remote contract position.

Job Description:Advanced Python developer to help complete certain components, improve documentation, and help transfer ownership of an existing AI application. The application is called the Medical Insight Generator, and it uses AI and NLP to enhance the discoverability of DPO and insight data for our Medical Affairs organization. You will be crucial in improving, streamlining, and preparing this application for new ownership and future enhancements

Duties:Cleanly document the codebaseEliminate unnecessary codeDevelop automations to streamline data updatesCollaborate with future software owners to understand the different components of the system

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience:7+ years of experience with PythonGood foundation in software engineering best practicesAt least 5 years of experience with version control systems such as GitHubAt least 5 years of experience with relational databases such as SQL or OracleIntermediate knowledge of deployment tools such as Docker EC2AI or NLP experience preferredIndependent worker, good collaborator
