Python/Django Developer

Hi there! We are Jules and our client is looking for a Python/Django Developer!

Client is an SEO SaaS company providing keyword research, rank tracking, and other SEO tools to bloggers, agencies, and others.

Responsibilities

Modernize and rewrite a complex PHP application acquired by Client using Python/Django framework. Develop new features and functionalities for the application. Containerize the application using Docker for efficient deployment and scalability. Collaborate with the existing development team (1 full-time, 1 contractor) to ensure seamless integration. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure code quality.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in Python development with strong proficiency in Django framework. Solid understanding of Docker containerization concepts and deployment strategies. Experience working with Linux operating systems. Php / laminas (we have a legacy application we are incrementally rewriting) Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. mysql / postgresql Experience with observability and unit/integration testing Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (accent acceptable if understandable). Nice to have: experience with web scraping/data mining Less important: front end skills like html/javascript/jquery/react
