Tableau Developer

Job Title: Tableau Developer Location: Remote ( In and around Bangalore) Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Tableau Developer who excels in optimizing Tableau Cloud and on-premises performance and possesses expertise in creating independent Tableau reports using Snowflake as a data source. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in developing impactful visualizations, complex calculations, and LOD expressions to meet design specifications from Figma prototypes. Responsibilities: - Develop and optimize Tableau dashboards and reports on Tableau Cloud and on-premises environments.- Implement best practices for Tableau performance tuning, ensuring efficient query performance and data refresh schedules.- Design and create visualizations that adhere to design guidelines provided in Figma prototypes.- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.- Utilize Snowflake as a data source to extract and manipulate data for reporting purposes.- Implement complex calculations, LOD expressions, and custom SQL queries as required.- Troubleshoot data issues, performance bottlenecks, and dashboard bugs.- Document technical designs, guidelines, and best practices for Tableau development and Snowflake integration. Requirements: - Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing Tableau dashboards and reports.- Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online.- Solid understanding of Tableau architecture, administration, and performance tuning techniques.- Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.- Strong SQL skills and ability to write efficient, optimized queries.- Experience in creating complex calculations, LOD expressions, and parameterized actions in Tableau.- Ability to interpret design specifications from tools like Figma and translate them into Tableau dashboards.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: - Tableau certification (added advantage) (Tableau Desktop Certified Professional).- Experience with other BI tools and data visualization frameworks.- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
