Senior Python Developer

Description:For an exciting project of our client we are looking for a Freelance Senior Python Developer for the master data supply in the stock process:

Your tasks will include:

Daily updating of the master data supply in the share process:Implementation of waterfall logic in the new infrastructureImplementation of a consistent update and testing processComparison and testing with old processAnalysis of deviations

Development of a factor suite for the equity process:Analysis and visualization of factor strategiesDecile portfoliosKey figures such as return and risk measures, correlations, etc.Scenario analysesBasis for research and ad hoc inquiriesPreparatory work for the basic risk models

Requirements:

Must-haves:in-depth knowledge of software development in PythonKnowledge of column-based storage solutions (especially Apache Parquet) as well as SQL server and ODBC data connectionsExperience with the development of data connections using REST APIsExperience with CI/CD pipelines

Nice-to-haves:Experience especially in the Quant-IT data modelKnowledge of asset management or financeImplementation of procedures for factor construction
