Job Description

As a Backend Developer, you will join an international team of engineers responsible for developing, testing, and deploying advanced applications for a leading industry client. You should be proficient in backend development using NestJS or Node.js. Ideally, you have full-stack experience and can handle end-to-end feature delivery in multi-cloud applications.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain web applications using Nest.JS or Node.jsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including international colleagues, to define, design, and ship new featuresWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient codeOptimize applications for maximum speed and scalabilityConduct code reviews and provide constructive feedbackImplement new application featuresTroubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing softwareImplement and manage automated testing platforms and unit testsParticipate in the deployment process and ensure applications are smoothly transitioned to production environmentsWork in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectivesTake broader responsibility beyond core skills, contributing to various aspects of the project lifecycle

Qualifications

Proven 3+ years of experience as a Web Application DeveloperProficiency in NestJS or Node.jsKnowledge of AWS, GCP, preferably multi-cloud experienceProficiency in JavaScript languageExperience with modern web application architectures and design patternsKnowledge of full-stack development is a plusKnowledge of CI/CD and test automation solutions is a plusAbility to work independently as well as in a team environment, strong self-leadershipExcellent communication and collaboration skillsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailWillingness to work beyond core skills and take broader responsibility for project tasks in a cross-functional team
