About the Project: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior React.js/Next.js Developer for a project-based contract to develop the frontend of our SaaS product. The project involves creating a high-performance, user-friendly web application interface based on designs provided in Figma. The frontend will integrate with our existing Django backend. The contract will conclude upon successful completion and handover of the frontend UI.

Responsibilities:Frontend Development: Design and develop user interfaces using React.js and Next.js, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience with a focus on writing optimized, scalable, reusable, and modular code.Component Development: Build reusable and maintainable components that adhere to the project's design and functionality requirements.Integration: Create endpoints and integrate frontend components with backend services and APIs built with Django, ensuring efficient communication between frontend and backend.Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and project managers to translate project requirements into technical specifications.Optimization: Optimize application performance, including page load times and responsiveness, to deliver a high-quality user experience.Testing: Write and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability. Address any bugs or issues that arise during development.Documentation: Document code, components, and development processes to facilitate easy maintenance and future enhancements.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in React.js and Next.js development and apply them to the project as needed.Code Quality: Implement and maintain coding standards, best practices, and architecture patterns to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.Scalability: Design and implement scalable frontend architectures capable of handling increasing user loads and feature complexity.Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge within the team.

Skills and Experience:React.js and Next.js: Extensive experience with React.js and Next.js, including their ecosystems.State Management: Proficiency in state management solutions such as Redux, MobX, or Recoil.JavaScript: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), including experience with modern JavaScript features and libraries.TypeScript: Experience with TypeScript is a plus.HTML/CSS: Strong understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design principles and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Material UI).API Integration: Experience creating endpoints and integrating frontend components with backend services and APIs, particularly with Django.Performance Optimization: Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for React and Next.js applications.Version Control: Familiarity with Git for version control and collaborative development.Testing: Experience with frontend testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).Collaboration Tools: Experience with Jira project management software.Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.SaaS Experience: Experience in developing SaaS products is highly desirable.Templating: Experience with templating solutions in React.js environments.CI/CD: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience in React.js development, with at least 3 years of experience with Next.js.Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing previous React.js and Next.js projects and achievements is preferred.

The ability to work effectively with our Django backend is crucial.
