PHP / Laravel engineer Ability to solve complex issues with existing codebaseFully Remote - Must be UK based £40k-50K

As my UK based client with a presence across the US and Europe continues to grow they are seeking an experienced laravel engineer to work on complex issues that have already been triaged by their helpdesk.

Key Responsibilities:

Service and maintain the help desk, addressing incoming tickets efficientlyDevelop and maintain Laravel-based projectsInteract directly with clients to understand and resolve their issuesHandle a variety of tasks with differing levels of complexityWork on multiple projects simultaneously, adapting quickly to different codebases and requirementsParticipate in writing automated tests for software projectsConduct manual testing to ensure software quality and functionality

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in PHP and Laravel frameworkStrong problem-solving abilitiesExperience with version control systems, particularly GitKnowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue)Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQLExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong time management and prioritisation skillsExperience with Agile methodologiesFamiliarity with API development and integrationAdvanced troubleshooting and debugging skills
