.Net Developer

At Kopius we are looking for a .Net Developer to join our team! The project is within the Financial Services industry and is based in Boston, MA. It offers global advisory, restructuring, and investment services, providing strategic solutions to optimize assets and achieve financial goals.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using .NET frameworks (e.g., ASP.NET, .NET Core).Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define software requirements.Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and web services.Ensure software performance, reliability, and security through testing and optimization.Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, processes, and project progress.Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

Intermediate/Advanced English skills.Strong communication skills, with an ability to express ideas/solutions in language that internal clients can comprehend.Self-starter, fast learner and flexible to support new technologies, as well as legacy applications.Ability to thrive in a team environment.Be able to handle processes with patience and tolerance.Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills across multi-disciplinary skill sets.Goal-oriented, creative and adaptable to new situations.

Qualifications for the role:

Proven experience as a Software Developer with a focus on .NET technologies.Strong proficiency in .NET ASP.NET, MS-SQL, Entity Framework, JavaScript and HTML.Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework).Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Python.Knowledge of Telerik.
