iOS Developer

At Kopius we are looking for a iOS Developer to join our team! The project is within the Digital Agriculture industry and is based in San Francisco, CA. The team develops a platform that examines weather, soil and field data to help farmers determine potential yield-limiting factors in their fields.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with a diverse team of Engineers, Data Analysts, Product Managers, and User Experience experts to craft an experience that will impact the face of farmingWork with an open, inclusive team of front-end and full stack engineers who are committed to continuous improvement.Participate in code reviews to share knowledge, help each other learn new things and take pride in making our code better.Write comprehensive tests (unit, integration, snapshot, UI) to improve quality.Ability to follow the technical design.

Basic Qualifications:

Intermediate/Advanced English skills with strong communication abilities.Self-motivated, quick learner, and adaptable to new technologies and legacy systems.Thrives in a team environment, actively contributes to collaboration, fostering a sense of community.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution. Embraces new ideas to enhance problem-solving processes.

Requirements:

6-10 years of experience in iOS development.Experience building iOS applications with modern iOS frameworks such as Swift.Experience with the latest iOS language features (Swift).Experience with git or other distributed version control system.Experience building and debugging apps on XCode IDE.Interest in working with a team that values automated testing.Experience managing complex code.

Nice to have:

Experience performance tuning iOS applications.Experience working offline data iOS applications.Experience working with Objective-C.Experience working with Product and Design to ship ground-breaking features.Champion of iOS development industry standards.Experience with test-driven development and tools like: XCTest and XCUITest.Experience with any of the following: server-side JavaScript (Node.js), GraphQL.
