Duties and ResponsibilitiesCreate a database with an administrative UI to allow maintenance.Create a public-facing end-user UI that meets accessibility requirements (currently WCAG 2.0, preferably WCAG 2.2).Address feedback from user acceptance.Testing/UX reviews and accessibility reviews and making final adjustments.Work with the production support team to implement and deployCoordinate testing and incorporate feedback.A functioning, accessible, Rails application with a public end-user interface, CAS authenticated administrative UI for maintenance, and separate prod and test/QA environments. Qualification/Skills8+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development.Strong understanding of the Ruby on Rails framework and its ecosystem.Experience with integrating Ruby on Rails applications with CAS for authentication and authorization.Familiarity with Java Development (JD) concepts, including Java EE, Spring Boot, or other Java-based frameworks.Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).Experience with other authentication protocols (e.g., OAuth, OpenID)Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).
