Job Summary
Design and implement platform features across HealthBeacon applications to deliver on the solutions vision.Adhere to the development team’s coding standards, best practices and development processes to maintain high software quality.Participate as a member of a development team of other software engineers to develop reliable and robust solutions.Perform technical design and code reviews to maintain high quality software.Co-ordinate with solution architect(s) and team lead to ensure best solution is delivered within budget, timelines and project circumstances.Mentor and support members of the software teamParticipate in the maintenance and support of existing software products.Contribute to quality and reliability improvements.Develop and maintain continuous integration infrastructureProvide clear technical documents and training materialsBe aware of emerging technologies and regulatory changes within the industry
Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering or related fieldMinimum of 5 years proven experience in software development preferably in a related industryIn-depth knowledge of software development with React and DjangoProficient in software development practices and toolsProven ability to balance technical innovation with practical business needsCommitment to maintaining the highest standards and ensuring compliance with all regulationsDetailed orientated with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholdersProficient in MySQLSolid experience building and maintaining RESTful APIsFamiliarity with code versioning tools such as BitbucketFamiliarity with modern front-end build pipelines and toolsAbility to work in an Agile environment
