Position: Experienced LabVantage LIMS Developer

Travel: Occasional to Germany

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled LabVantage LIMS Developer to provide 2nd and 3rd line support for our global R&D laboratories. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of direct experience with LabVantage implementations and technical configurations, low-code programming of business requirements, agile scrum methodologies, and delivering well-defined sprint goals. You will play a crucial role in supporting our internal development team with 3rd level support, including root cause analysis, bug fixing, configuration of interfaces, and maintaining lab master data.

Key Responsibilities:

2nd and 3rd Level Support: Conduct root cause analysis, read log files, execute SQL queries, and resolve complex issues efficiently.Support BNT Development Team: Assist with configuration and low-code tasks, perform bug fixing, and optimize/improve LabVantage configurations.Interface Adaptations and Lab Device Connections: Analyze interfaces and connectors, adjust field mappings, and improve the robustness of interfaces.Reports Development: Implement reports, dashboards, and barcode labels based on demands or user stories from the lab business.Lab Master Data Maintenance: Maintain and optimize requested test methods, calculation formulas, array layouts, and other lab master data.Incident Verification Testing and Documentation: Verify reported incidents, reproduce issues, and document root cause analysis and bug fixing.

Mandatory Skills:

General knowledge of the LIMS domain.LabVantage LIMS administrator skills.Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Database and SQL queries.Knowledge of LabVantage data model, SDCs, and master data concepts.Experience in LabVantage low-code programming with Groovy or Java.Skills in software development documentation, including URS, user stories, and technical specifications.Expertise with LabVantage cloud architecture and deep technical expertise.5-10 years of direct experience with LabVantage implementations and technical configuration.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of LIMS operation in biotech R&D laboratories.Experience with LabVantage PageDesigner and JavaScript.Familiarity with instrument connection using LabVantage SDMS
