Power BI Developer

Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Connect to various data sources, import and transform data for Business Intelligence.Optimize Power BI dashboards with a focus on usability, performance, flexibility, and standardization.Develop, publish, and schedule Power BI reports as per business requirements.Create and manage data models, including DAX queries and measures.Ensure data accuracy and integrity in the reports and dashboards.Provide support and training to end-users on Power BI functionalities and best practices.Troubleshoot and resolve data and reporting issues.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Power BI and related technologies.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role.Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including Power Query, Power Pivot, and DAX.Strong understanding of data modeling, data transformation, and ETL processes.Experience with SQL and relational databases.Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality.

Preferred Skills:Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and other Azure services.Familiarity with other BI tools and technologies (e.g., Tableau, Qlik).Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.Understanding of data governance and data security practices.
