Our client is a digital marketing agency based in Australia, looking for a Senior WordPress Developer. The developer is tasked with leading the development of a wide range of websites, from elegant brochure-style to advanced e-commerce platforms. Utilizing expertise in WordPress, particularly with Elementor and Astra, they will integrate provided content seamlessly and ensure timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities:Develop responsive WordPress websites using Elementor and Astra themes.Integrate e-commerce functionalities using Shopify for relevant projects.Customize websites to meet advanced requirements such as complex forms, booking systems, and unique features like memorial tools.Ensure adherence to wireframes and Figma designs provided, maintaining design integrity throughout development.Collaborate closely with the content team to seamlessly integrate provided assets (photos, videos, written content) into the websites.Utilize project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) to keep projects organized and transparent.Deliver completed projects within a 30-day timeframe from project initiation.
Requirements:Minimum of 5 years of experience in WordPress development, with hands-on proficiency in Elementor and Astra.Strong understanding of Shopify for ecommerce integrations.Proven ability to handle advanced website functionalities such as custom forms and booking systems.Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of projects, with examples of custom features and complex integrations.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently without compromising quality.Has a good eye for design and extensive experience using Figma for design and prototyping.
Additional Information:Type of Websites: Brochure-style with occasional e-commerce features.Number of Pages: Varied, from 1 to 50 pages per website.Custom Requirements: Advanced forms, booking systems, and unique features tailored to specific client needs.Content Provision: Majority of content provided (photos, videos, written content); focus on integration and design.Communication: Regular catch-ups 2-3 times a week; preference for afternoon updates aligned with Australian Eastern Standard and Daylight Time.
