Primary Function | What you'll doBuild software solutions and functionality to meet customer requirements.Architect scalable and maintainable software solutions that meet business requirements.Guide the architecture, design, planning, and development of modern web SaaS applications.Lead, mentor, and support other software developers and team membersEnhance application functionality, performance, reliability, and scalability.Provide DevOps support for production operations.

Role-Specific Responsibilities | What they wantFull stack web application development experienceProfessional web application architecture experience, designing for capacity and scalability.Full lifecycle software development experience using Agile/Scrum/KanbanExperience in discovery, use case analysis, and communication with key stakeholders.Key Activities & Responsibilities:Implement, maintain, and enhance systems - support ticketsDrive software initiatives, and best practice methodologies for development, deployment, and hostingConduct code reviews and ensure quality and consistencyFull-stack web application developmentWork with modern technology stacks in the cloud

Qualifications | What you'll need8+ years of professional Java web application experience8+ years of SQL and/or ORM development experience (preferably PostgreSQL)8+ years of framework experience: Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.Front-end development: experience with modern JavaScript, HTML/CSS, ExtJS, React etc. (a plus)Additional experience: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Maven, Puppet, Git, etc.REST API development experienceExperience developing microservices, caching, message queues, and container orchestration.

Education: BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field. Advanced technical degree and/or related training a plus

Preferred:Experience in a healthcare or highly regulated environmentCI/CD experienceInfrastructure experience: Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, etc.Master’s degree in a relevant technical field
