SENIOR FULL-STACK DEVELOPER: This is a 1 YEAR CONTRACT role with one of the BIG 4 firm’s – paying R1,000/hour, and offering REMOTE work.

THE COMPANY:This is one of the BIG 4 CONSULTANCY FIRMS, and the world’s largest Professional Services Businesses.You will join a specialist team who are dedicated to designing and developing cutting-edge platforms that empower actuaries to create innovative applications.At the heart of each App, is an actuarial model that crunches large amounts of data to produce various outputs that are used across banking, insurance, and people analytics.

THE ROLE:Develop platform features that allow lower-skilled developers to develop a rich end-user experience and a back-end capable of running actuarial models at scale.Use your front-end experience to design and deliver components that are meta-data driven.Develop a back-end in .Net that supports the front-end and orchestrates modelling pipelines.Contribute to the full stack architecture and implementation of the end-to-end application.

REQUIRED SKILLS:10+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer.10+ years of experience with .NET development.5+ years of experience with React.js.Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.Proficient in database design and management (SQL/NoSQL).Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
