Senior Oracle Database Developer with JavaScript Expertise

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle Database Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in Oracle Database management and development, with a deep understanding of inline JavaScript (JavaScript within Oracle DB). This role demands a high level of expertise in database optimization, complex query writing, and integrating JavaScript within Oracle databases to enhance functionality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Database Development & Management:Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle databases, ensuring high performance and reliability.Optimize database queries and procedures for performance improvements.Implement and manage database security policies and procedures.

JavaScript Integration:Write and maintain JavaScript code that executes within Oracle databases (PL/SQL and JavaScript Object Notation).Develop custom scripts and functions to enhance database capabilities and automate processes.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to JavaScript execution within the database environment.

Technical Leadership:Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on best practices for database and JavaScript integration.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions.Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in Oracle DB and JavaScript.

Performance Tuning:Analyze and optimize database performance, including query tuning and indexing.Conduct regular performance reviews and implement enhancements as needed.

Documentation & Reporting:Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database designs, processes, and JavaScript code.Generate regular reports on database performance and project status.

Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in Oracle Database development and management.

Skills:Expertise in Oracle Database architecture, PL/SQL, and SQL.Strong knowledge of JavaScript, particularly in the context of Oracle DB.Proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization techniques.Experience with database security practices and disaster recovery planning.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional).Experience with other programming languages or database systems.Knowledge of cloud-based Oracle solutions and integrations.
