Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities: ● Designing and developing new or changing existing web applications/APIs. ● Maintaining and troubleshooting web applications and APIs. ● Writing and maintaining reliable Ruby / Rails code. ● Integrating with data storage solutions such as database, file storage or object storage. ● Creating services using microservices architecture. ● Dockerize the application / service ● Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs. ● Integrating user-facing elements designed by the front-end team. ● Connecting applications with other internal or third party systems.

Must Have Skills: ● Experience: Over 7 years of hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails. ● Expertise: Proficiency in either Sidekiq or Shoryuken, showcasing a deep understanding of background job processing. ● Frontend Knowledge: Solid knowledge in React and Typescript, demonstrating the ability to work with modern frontend technologies. ● Cloud Computing: Familiarity with AWS, with a specific emphasis on SQS (Simple Queue Service). ● Willing to work in UK Shift hours.
