Unity Developer - Metaverse Platform

Job Description:You will be creating the unity part of the platform that will shape the future of the metaverse.

With our solution, you can easily create your own turnkey 3D worlds and experiences in the metaverse. Our 3D virtual worlds are accessible to everyone on any device: no downloads, all in the web browser, on a mobile device, or in VR. Users own their data and assets.

You will be responsible for creating that solution along with a group of engineers that will change the world

Responsibilities:

Metaverse Platform Development: Develop our metaverse platform using Unity 3D, ensuring high performance, scalability, and compatibility across multiple devices and platforms.

Virtual World Creation: Collaborate with designers and artists to create interactive and visually stunning virtual worlds within the metaverse.

Interactivity: Implement engaging interactive features, such as social interaction, multiplayer capabilities, and dynamic content within the metaverse.

User Experience: Prioritize user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles to ensure that the metaverse is intuitive, diverse and immersive.

Optimization: Optimize performance, ensuring that the metaverse runs smoothly on a wide range of hardware configurations.

Testing and Debugging: Identify and resolve bugs, glitches, and performance bottlenecks to maintain a seamless user experience.

Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation for your code, workflows, and metaverse features to facilitate collaboration with the team.

Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including artists, designers, 3D modelers, and other developers to achieve project goals.

Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in metaverse technologies, Unity updates, and best practices, and incorporate them into the project.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience as a Unity Developer with a strong portfolio

Proficiency in Unity 3D and C# programming.

Strong 3D maths and physics knowledge.

Experience with multiplayer game development and networking.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Passion for pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the metaverse.

Nice to have: Experience with blockchain integration for virtual assets.Experience developing pipelines for CI/CDExperience developing Unit testsExperience in WebGL for unity
