About the jobSkyjed is a high-growth global SaaS provider of an AI-enhanced product lifecycle management and governance platform. Skyjed’s award-winning platform provides organisations with a 360-degree view of their product portfolio’s health whilst facilitating collaboration, transparency, and product trust throughout the organisation.Skyjed has built a solid web application with huge momentum and few if any, real competitors. Location Our technology development team is largely Melbourne-based (Cremorne - right by some fantastic coffee shops) and primarily works from home. We are flexible with how you work and the location you work from. We are open to applicants from all locations within Australia.

The RoleThe Senior .NET Backend Developer is involved in all areas of development from research, design, and development to testing, deployment, and maintenance.Working with an agile team to develop, test, and maintain Skyjed SaaS products and cloud solutions.• Full time• Developing best practices for our SaaS cloud platform• Maintaining accurate code documentation• Partner with frontend developers and product designers• Maintaining and unit testing code.• Code review of pull requests• Deliver code that is reusable, testable, and efficient• Assisting in defining user stories and delivering solutions that support our customers.• Assisting in preparing roadmaps, reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of applications.

Skills• Having a start-up mindset and a willingness to innovate new ideas quickly.• Primarily develop backend services using .NET• Ability to integrate AWS resource (SNS, SQS, S3, RDS, etc) • Using addition knowledge, skills, tools, frameworks and coding languages (such as Postgres SQL, Entity Framework, C#, AWS, ASP.NET Zero, Docker, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jira etc.) to design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.• Knowledge of Big Data, AI and ML• Experience with secure API development • Work with third-party system APIs to develop integrated solutions• Participating in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code• Testing experience in developing unit tests, end-to-end tests and TDD • Working with CI/CD pipelines including version control quality deployment and test automation tools• Assisting in the requirements and continuous design of AWS Multi-tenanted Cloud Architecture.• Working with teammates to package and support deployment of application tothe cloud.• Analysing and resolving technical and application issues.• Adhering to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on budget.• Providing third-level support to business users.
