Role DescriptionThis is a remote contract role for a PHP/WordPress Developer at Crazy Mavericks. The Developer will be responsible for back-end web development, of a custom application in a day-to-day capacity.
ResponsibilityManage back-end services and data interchange between the server and users.Develop server-side logic and maintain the central database.Ensure high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests.Design and implement new features and functionalities based on client or project requirements.Establish and guide the website’s architecture to ensure effective site performance.Create custom-tailored WordPress themes and alter pre-existing templates.Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.Perform regular updates, backups, and troubleshooting as needed.Collaborate with web designers and programmers to produce the website.
QualificationsProven proficiency in PHP and WordPressUnderstanding core of PHP concepts.How API is created and integrated with front-end.MySQL or PostgreSQL.Proven work experience of 3+ years as PHP/WordPress Developer.Strong understanding of the WordPress core, theme development, and plugin development.Added advantage to have knowledge in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.Ability to work independently and remotely.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Knowledge of Accessibility standards is a plus.
