Your opportunity

We are seeking a Ruby On Rails Developer to join our SRE team. This team is responsible for delivering and supporting our customized Managed Hosting Services. They are also responsible for the platforms that make this possible, you will play a pivotal role in this part.

Key Responsibilities

As a Ruby On Rails Developer you will work, based on a comprehensive roadmap, on our web platform. This is a highly automated control panel used by both customers and internal staff to manage Managed Hosting functions as easy as possible.This platform will be rolled out significantly within the European team.blue group over the next few years, which means you will have the opportunity to contribute to a flagship product that will scale very strongly. There is a lot of challenging work ahead.You will mainly focus on back-end development, although you will also be involved in front-end development. Besides developing new features, you will also contribute to the optimization of the current code.You will also be involved in analysis, architecture, testing, documentation, ...

Ruby On Rails;Javascript/ECMAscript, CSS, SASS,...;MySQL;Elasticsearch;Kubernetes & Docker;Redis;RabbitMQ;RSpec;GitLab.

Skills And Experience

You have experience programming in Ruby On Rails.As a developer, you use OO principles and modern design patterns.Besides back-end development, you are also open to working on the front-end.Quality code and (automated) testing go hand in hand for you.Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.You like to take ownership and are proactive. You also work well with colleagues.You speak fluent English.
