Lead Frontend Developer

As the Lead Software developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the frontend aspects of our project. You will work with a team of frontend developers in building a product that provides access to Gen-AI capabilities in a governed and responsible way. This product will serve as a one-stop-shop for all GenAI needs for the Customer.

Responsibilities:Development Strategy and Execution:Execute development strategies that align with the customer's goals and project objectivesOversee the development process from concept to final delivery, ensuring high standards of quality and creativityImplement best frontend practices, and standards specifically for the Gen-AI capabilities projectTranslate design wireframes into responsive, interactive web appsWrite clean, maintainable and scalable code

Interaction:Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective frontend solutionsPresent frontend concepts and proposals to stakeholders and incorporate their feedbackBuild and maintain strong relationships to ensure continuous alignment with customer's vision and values

Innovation and Trends:Stay updated with the latest frontend trends, tools, and technologies, particularly in the Gen-AI, ReactJS and NextJS spacesPromote innovation within the frontend team and encourage the exploration of new ideas and approachesContinuously seek opportunities to improve the development processes and outcomes for the project

If this is you, you’ll be working with the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) team for a global retail company. With teammates in the US, China, and Poland, you’ll be joining a global organization working to solve machine learning problems at scale.

Qualifications7+ years of experience in software development focus on ReactJS and its ecosystem, with at least 3 years in a leadership roleProficiency in Typescript and ReactJSProficiency in NextJS and NodeJS is a plusExperience in micro frontend is a plusExperience in tailwind is a plusExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentPassion for web application development and a keen eye for detailProblem-solving skillsPassion for creating smooth user experiencesBusiness domain acumenProactivityAbility to make valid assumption and work in unclear requirements environmentStrong communication skills
