Unity Developer (Multiplayer Game & SDK Development) - Freelance

We are currently working on a groundbreaking multiplayer game using Unity and are seeking a skilled freelance Unity Developer to join our project. This role involves not only developing the multiplayer game but also creating a Unity SDK that will be integral to the game's functionality. Job Description : As a freelance Unity Developer, you will play a critical role in the development of our multiplayer game and the accompanying Unity SDK. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing the game and SDK, ensuring a smooth and immersive experience for players. You will collaborate with our team remotely, bringing your expertise to help us achieve our vision. Responsibilities :Design, develop, and maintain a high-quality multiplayer game using Unity.Develop a Unity SDK that will be integrated into the multiplayer game, enabling seamless interaction for users and developers.Implement networked features and ensure the stability and performance of multiplayer gameplay.Collaborate with remote team members, including designers, artists, and other developers, to deliver polished and well-integrated features.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to industry best practices.Debug and optimize game performance, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable player experience.Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep the game and SDK at the forefront of innovation. Requirements :Proven experience in Unity development, particularly with multiplayer games.Strong understanding of Unity3D, C#, and related game development technologies.Experience developing and integrating Unity SDKs.Familiarity with multiplayer networking concepts and technologies, including server-client architecture, latency management, and synchronization.Knowledge of version control systems like Git.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a remote team. Qualifications :Strong experience with Unity's networking libraries (e.g., Mirror, Photon).Proven experience with mobile or console game development.Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) for multiplayer game hosting.Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines in game development.
