The Senior UI/UX Developer will be part of the AI-Workbench capabilities development team. (S)He will work with respective team leads/managers, experienced software developers, DevOps, data scientists/engineers, and technology experts to deliver analytical platform solutions.
Responsibilities:Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with team lead, managers, and engineersDevelop and conceptualize UI/UX design strategies for the workbenchProduce and maintain high-quality UX designs using wireframes, flow diagrams, graphic and visual design, sitemaps, prototypes, and storyboardsDevelop interactive mockups of the interfaces including interface elements such as menus, calls to action, and tabs (e.g., Sketch, InVision)Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholdersUnderstand the limitations of our tech stack and business model and provide technical advice wherever necessary.Test and troubleshoot user experience issues based on the feedbackAdvice and guide the implementation of UX research methods and tests to ensure proper prediction and analysis of user behaviorAdhere to the graphic design and typography style standardsDesign, build, and maintain highly reusable code bases written in a standard language (e.g., NodeJS, ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc.).Coordinate with cross-functional team to enhance our workbench platform, architecture stack, and cloud infrastructure with modular assets and pipelines as requiredYou're result-driven, keen on learning, and a proactive team player, developing your knowledge base continuously to stay on top of your field
Mandatory Skills Description:Education and CompetenciesUniversity degree in or equivalent in computer science, informatics, engineering, or comparable qualification6+ years of experience as a front-end developer2+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer or similar roleA portfolio that demonstrates both JavaScript proficiency and understanding of SOLID design principles (plugins, node packages, etc.)Expertise in wireframe tasks and tools (e.g., Wireframe. cc, Sketch, InVision, Android, Design Suites, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop etc.) and its best practicesExpert knowledge in coding languages like NodeJS, React JS, and HTML, CSSA history of deconstructing user behavior to create an improved experience for users, showcased in the form of blog posts, articles, screencasts, etc.Proficiency using Git version control.Proficiency in using the command line.Aware of design trends and toolsPossesses an understanding of architectural dependencies of AI/Machine Learning technologiesMust be able to understand technical and business requirements and can translate them into technical implementationsExperience in Agile Development technologies (SCRUM), managing projects with organizing tasksGood communication skills and business fluency in English
