Back End Developer

This position is a Remote position to work from on in LATAM working with US clients. You will be working as a consultant directly with clients US Clients.

Title: Senior Backend Engineer

Join Unit 42, a leader in cybersecurity, as a Senior Backend Engineer. You will be pivotal in designing and maintaining the backend systems that power our cutting-edge web applications. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless scalability across diverse user profiles and global regions. We seek a proactive self-starter to lead the development of modern cloud services in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities- Architect, develop, and maintain backend infrastructure for customer-facing web applications.- Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and data models.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features.- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing backend systems.- Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment.- Ensure high availability and performance of backend services in a cloud environment.

Qualifications- 8+ years in backend development with Python, Golang, C/C++, or Java.- Expertise in data modeling, RESTful APIs, SQL, and version control.- Experience with containerization, cloud platforms (GCP preferred), CI/CD, and agile methodologies.- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).

Knowledge of cybersecurity principles is a plus.ormance Testing, Change Management.
