Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior PHP Laravel Developer cum Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in PHP Laravel development and a passion for teaching and mentoring others. This role combines hands-on development work with training responsibilities, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to grow both as a developer and a trainer.
Key Responsibilities
Development: Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework. Collaborate with senior developers, front-end developers, and designers to implement features and functionality. Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices. Participate in the integration of RESTful APIs and third-party services. Troubleshoot and debug application issues under the guidance of senior developers. Contribute to code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency. Training: Assist in developing training materials and resources to teach PHP Laravel development to new trainees or junior developers. Conduct basic training sessions and workshops on PHP Laravel, covering fundamental concepts and skills. Provide hands-on support to trainees during coding exercises and projects. Monitor and assess the progress of trainees, providing feedback and guidance to help them improve. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in PHP Laravel development and share knowledge with trainees.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in PHP Laravel development. Basic understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Experience with version control systems like Git. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience. Willingness to learn and grow both as a developer and a trainer. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with other PHP frameworks. Basic knowledge of databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL. Previous experience in a teaching or mentoring role. Eagerness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
