In one sentence

We are seeking a back-end Java developer to join our EU R&D team. Your role involves creating and maintaining parsers and conversion tools, focusing on automated language conversions like COBOL to Java and JCL to Powershell.

What will your job look like?

Maintain and extend existing command-line tools and libraries for automated language conversions.Work in a collaborative team environment with 2 – 3 highly autonomous individuals.Conduct occasional research and extensions on existing conversion specifications under the guidance of a senior architect.

All you need is...

Strong Java programming skills with 2+ years of experience.Experience with parser generators like ANTLR or JavaCC.Excellent English communication skills.High attention to detail.Autonomous and proactive.

Nice To Have

Interest in technology evolution.Participation in open-source projects.Knowledge of legacy technologies.Experience with other programming languages.Linux command-line experience.Relational database experience.Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
