Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Software Engineer with a proactive mindset, a dedication to top-tier development, and a collaborative approach. As a key member of our team, you will take the lead on projects, conduct thorough code reviews, and optimize performance. In this role you will be part of developing our company's cloud-native, SaaS-delivered Unified Observability service: Alluvio IQ.

Alluvio IQ leverages full-stack, full-fidelity telemetry about the end user, the network, and application to analyze 10+ million data points per minute for complete visibility, even into remote and hybrid work environments and enables IT organizations to move from simple monitoring and visibility to reap the full benefits of unified observability.

What You Will Do

Create and test new and existing features for the Alluvio Platform. Architect, implement, and oversee cloud-based solutions utilizing C#, AWS, and Linux-related networking technologies. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including PMs, DevOps, QA engineers, and UI developers, to engineer scalable, efficient, and maintainable software solutions. Stay up to date with the latest technologies, tools, and frameworks used in our product for optimizing performance, as well as supporting and enhancing existing applications, code quality, and technical documentation. Guide and mentor fellow developers to enhance their technical proficiency.

What Makes You An Ideal Candidate

Demonstrated expertise in developing applications using C# or similar programming languages, with additional skills in Python and Bash being advantageous. Proficiency in Linux system administration and networking. Understanding and knowledge of IoT technologies, including devices, protocols, and data management. Proficiency in packet-level network troubleshooting and analysis, including the use of tools like Wireshark. Familiarity with Ansible is a beneficial skill. Knowledge of AWS cloud services or other cloud platforms. Comfortable with Agile software development methodologies and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, iterative development environment. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
