Project Description:One of the world's leading financial groups looking for a CyberSecurity Technical SME.
This role sits in the IT Risk, Security & Control department which covers cyber security strategy maintenance and tactical planning and operations to provide IT Security protection, governance, risk management and reporting. This includes promoting Head Office Information Security Standards and Procedures (ISSP) requirements and local security requirements. The department supports and monitors security solutions such as virus protection, vulnerability management, compliance monitoring and threat/incident management activities to reduce risk.
Responsibilities:We are looking for Architect or Developer or Tester to join our Cybersecurity Technical Team which is responsible for design and implementation of large, strategic and complex cybersecurity technology products. The role will also be expected to provide expert and authoritative advice to architecture and development teams to ensure solutions comply with relevant policies, reference models, regulations, and best practices.
This team is responsible for architecture, design and delivery of cybersecurity technical products across the financial group's banking arm and securities business under a dual-hat arrangement. Under this arrangement, you will acting on behalf of both the bank and the securities business, subject to the same remit and level of authority, and irrespective of the entity which employs you. Key responsibilities include but, but not limited to:• Interpret cybersecurity relevant regulatory and other requirements or best practices and translate these to business aligned cybersecurity requirements.• Architect, design and implement cyber technology products.• Deliver and Testing the technical solutions across the cyber security platform.• Providing recommendations on security best practises for cross portfolio projects• Manage and work independently or as part of a team in delivering complex projects.
The technical resource will be responsible for support and execution of the following deliverables as required: business requirements, technical design and architecture, engagement with other IT Security and Infrastructure teams.
Mandatory Skills Description:Relevant Experience as an Architect/Developer/Tester in the area of Cybersecurity in Bank
Work Experience:Essential:• Experience in security architecture, review and design• Experience in implementation of cyber products in large complex environments.• Experience in implementing cloud security architecture.• Experience in carrying out IT Security review (technical) of new products/solutions.• Demonstrable proficiency in a wide range of information IT security technologies and embedded security; at the minimum knowledge must cover key cybersecurity domains such as Identity and Access Management, Vulnerability Management Posessing high level of analytical ability where problems are typically unusual and difficult.• Strong working knowledge of technology - servers, database and network devices.• Ability to maintain a working knowledge of cybersecurity principles and elements.• Demonstrable experience of senior stakeholder management and relevant management reporting.• Ability to coach team members through knowledge transfer and constructive feedback.
Education / Qualifications:Essential:• Degree educated and / or equivalent experience.
