The candidate will be individual contributor (not expected to manage teams) for our product development team.

As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and deployment of high-performance applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and robust software solutions. This is an opportunity to leverage your extensive experience in Java and cloud technologies to drive innovation and contribute to the success of our products.

Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and development of complex, high-performance Java-based and Spring boot applications.Implement best practices for coding and software developmentWork with AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure to deploy, manage, and optimize applicationsImplement containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes for efficient application deployment and scalability.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UI/UX designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutionsParticipate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement in development processesTroubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure high availability and reliability of applicationsStay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Java development, Spring Boot, AWS, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).5-8+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of Core Java concepts and technologies.Extensive experience with Spring Boot, including developing RESTful APIs and utilizing Spring ecosystem components.In-depth knowledge of AWS services, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS, with hands-on experience in building and deploying applications on AWS.Proficiency in containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes.Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex issues efficiently.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:Experience with microservices architecture and related technologies.Understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.Familiarity with cloud-native development principles and serverless computing.Knowledge of containerization platforms like Docker.
