Senior software developer, tester

Purpose of role:The Software Developer will develop, test, and improve components of computational infrastructure that provide data storage, data review, and report generation functionality as well as responsible for Quality Assurance documentation along with testing of these components. The role includes implementing multi-layered software architecture design changes, associated documentation, create automated and user-driven testing, and contribute to life science industry compliant documents i.e FDA, ISO etc.

Technical Requirement:A degree in computer science or information technology, computational biology or related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in life sciences, computer sciences or related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance related to life sciences or related field.Minimum 3 years of experience of writing and executing functional and user acceptance testing.Skill requirement: Minimum 3 to 4 years in Python, Django and Flask or similar frameworksAt least 3 years of experience in the development of relational databases, typically MySQLMinimum 3 to 4 years of Web development experience using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery and desirable to have experience in any latest web technologySoftware testing – Unit testing (Test Driven Development), automated web application testing, system testing and continuous integration, User Driven Testing and User Acceptance TestingDesire to have experience in version control system like Git (BitBucket), any popular IDE, Application Life Cycle Management like CodeBeamer, Issue tracking tools such as JiraDesire to have some experience in reporting tools like JasperReports or TableauExperience in Linux/Unix environment, Amazon Web Services, desirable to have experience in configuration/deployment management tool such as Ansible and in other cloud-based technologyPrior experience with Software Development Life Cycle and/or regulated environment, in particular for software and quality assurance, such as ISO 134 8 5, EN 62304, ISO 15 I 8 9 is desirablePrior experience working in HIPPA, GDPR controlled environmentExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong problem-solving ability and time management skillsAbility to be creative, willing to get involved at a granular level or detail-oriented, capable of working independently to progress work with minimal supervision, and proactively in a team-oriented environmentKey Responsibilities/Tasks:Develop software components with the help of Python, Java, SQL & Web technologiesSupport software requirement gathering and release activitiesContribute to the Development OperationsMaintain and extend the database architecture design to support the data collection of mutation and clinical dataReview code written by other members of the teamSupport the testing activities of software development teamInvolve in the planning, creation and execution of testing activities.Contribute to the quality and regulatory documentation activities of product life cycle.Develop internal, regulatory compliant tools that nurture our commercial activities
