Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Duck Creek Developer/Lead to join our team. This role is crucial for designing and implementing insurance products using Duck Creek Technologies. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in configuration, development, and integration within the Duck Creek environment, along with strong leadership capabilities for guiding the development team.Key Responsibilities:Configuration & Customization:Manage all configuration activities within Duck Creek applications.Analyze and determine optimal configuration options to meet business requirements.Solution Design:Design solutions using core Duck Creek components (Example Server, Express, TransACT, Forms Engine, User Admin, Author).Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.Development & Troubleshooting:Design, develop, and implement Duck Creek Rating & Policy components to build new insurance products.Troubleshoot and debug Duck Creek applications to ensure smooth operation.Integration:Integrate Duck Creek applications with backend databases, third-party APIs, and other data sources.Ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability.Testing & Quality Assurance:Support all phases of testing, including unit testing, system testing, UAT, and implementation.Provide defect fixes and ensure quality in all deliverables.Code Review & Deployment:Lead code review sessions, ensuring adherence to quality standards.Manage code deployments and perform impact analysis to mitigate risks.Task Management:Estimate effort for development tasks and manage deliverables within the estimated timeframes.Prioritize and manage tasks to meet project deadlines.Collaboration & Leadership:Work closely with the development lead to design and implement solutions.Provide mentorship to junior developers and foster a collaborative work environment.Required Skills & Experience:Extensive experience with Duck Creek Technologies, particularly core components like Example Server, Express, TransACT, and Forms Engine.Strong background in Duck Creek Rating & Policy development and configuration.Proficiency in integrating Duck Creek applications with databases, APIs, and enterprise systems.Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.Experience in leading code reviews and managing deployments.Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.Additional Requirements:Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills.Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Attention to Detail: Focus on delivering high-quality, error-free solutions.Availability: Immediate joiners preferred.
